PORT CLINTON: David G. Petsche, 71, of Port Clinton and formerly of Oregon, OH died Monday, December 14, 2015, at ST. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo, OH. 

He was born February 26, 1944, in Toledo, the son of Louis and Doretha (Laramie) Petsche, Jr. He graduated from Oregon Clay High School and attended the University of Toledo. He married Julia E. McCall on Jan. 16, 1965, and she survives. David was a proud member of Operating Engineers Local 18 in Toledo where he served on the Advisory Board. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1610, Port Clinton, and Lake in the Woods Condo Association President. He loved walking on the beach, reading, and bird-watching. He enjoyed traveling to Ft Myers Beach, FL in the winter.

Surviving are his wife, Julia; daughter, Barbara (Gary) Girolimon of Colorado; grandchildren, Terra (Greg) Koenig of Pennsylvania, Colombe (Justin) Girolimon of Colorado; great-grandchildren, Bailey Koenig, Silva Koenig, Ari Hagan; brother, Don (Fran) Petsche of San Diego, CA. 

He was preceded in death by his son, David L. Petsche; and brother, James Petsche.

Memorial visitation will be held Wednesday, December 16, 2015, from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1124 Fulton St. Port Clinton, OH 43452.
