Kathleen S Klaege, 55, of Oak Harbor, Ohio, died peacefully in her home Friday, December 17, 1999. She was the widow of Kenneth Klaege. Kathleen worked as office manager for Professional Home Inspections and was a district manager for Avon Products. She was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.

Surviving are her daughter, Kelly Klaege; sons, Kenneth (Shelley) and Kevin  (Josie) Klaege; her close companion and friend. Mart Petty; sisters, Rosemary Genson, Ruth Ritchie and twin sister, Pat Thompson; brother, Robert Herrick; 8 grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Myrtle Herrick; sister, Nancy Wolfe; daughter, Kimberly Klaege.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Eggleston-Meinert Funeral Home, 440 South Coy Road at Starr Avenue, where visitation will be Sunday from 6 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 9 p.m. The family would like to thank her sister, Rosemary, for all her loving care during her sister's illness and suggest memorial contributions be made to either Hospice of Fremont Memorial Hospital or the St. Charles Cancer Clinic.
